Ingredients:
1 box of your preferred brownie mix
680 grams (24 oz) of softened cream cheese
200 grams (1 cup) of sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 large eggs
120 grams (1/2 cup) sour cream
120 ml (1/2 cup) caramel sauce
45 grams (1/4 cup) chocolate chips
45 grams (1/4 cup) chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease a 23 cm (9-inch) springform pan.
Follow the instructions on your brownie mix package to prepare the batter, then pour it into the greased pan, spreading it evenly. Bake for about 20 minutes, then set it aside to cool slightly.
In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth. Incorporate the eggs individually, ensuring each one is well-mixed before adding the next. Finally, mix in the sour cream.
Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled brownie base evenly. Drizzle 60 ml (1/4 cup) of caramel sauce on top, and use a knife to gently swirl it into the cream cheese, creating a marbled look.
Bake the cheesecake for 50-60 minutes, until the center is nearly set but still slightly wobbly. Switch off the oven and let the cheesecake rest inside for about an hour to cool gradually.
After removing it from the oven, refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Before serving, drizzle more caramel sauce over the top and sprinkle with chocolate chips and chopped nuts if you’d like.
