- 1 lb ground beef
- 16-24 slices of pepperoni
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 4 hamburger buns, split and toasted
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
- 1- In a large bowl, mix the ground beef with the Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- 2- Shape the seasoned beef mixture into four patties and set aside.
- 3- Preheat your grill or skillet to medium-high heat.

- 5- Grill each patty for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your desired doneness.
- 6- While the patties are grilling, warm the pizza sauce in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally.
- 7- Spread half of the warmed pizza sauce on the bottom halves of the toasted buns. Top with half of the mozzarella and pepperoni slices.
- 8- Briefly broil the buns with the sauce, cheese, and pepperoni for 2-3 minutes until the cheese melts.
- 9- Place the grilled patties on the prepared buns, add the remaining pizza sauce, cheese, and pepperoni.
- 10- Grill or broil again until the cheese melts, then place the top halves of the buns on the burgers.
Enjoy your pizza burgers!
